  Studijų skyrius – pagrindinis Verslo ir technologijų fakulteto padalinys organizuojantis ir kontroliuojantis studijų procesą, vykdantis darbą su studentais.

  Pagrindinės studijų skyriaus funkcijos:

  • Rengti studijų proceso dokumentus (egzaminų, įskaitų, praktikų įvertinimo žiniaraščius; akademinės grupės galutinių įvertinimų suvestines).
  • Sudaryti ir koreguoti užsiėmimų tvarkaraštį studentams ir dėstytojams, koordinuoti auditorijų užimtumą.
  • Sudaryti egzaminų bei akademinių įsiskolinimų likvidavimo tvarkaraščius.
  • Vesti studentų judėjimo apskaitą.
  • Tarpininkauti išleidžiant studentus į akademines atostogas bei suteikiant studijų pertrauką ir sekti studentų savalaikį grįžimą tęsti studijas.
  • Vykdyti studentų pažangumo ir lankomumo apskaitos kontrolę.
  • Tarpininkauti skiriant skatinamąsias ir socialines stipendijas.

Mission

• to train the business and technologies professionals with the higher college education, who will meet social – economical needs of Lithuania and Panevezys region;
• to develop the scientific research activities useful for the region;
• to supply the study process with modern teaching technologies which are useful in cooperation with social partners, educational institutions, participation in projects and training of staff;
• to form the initiative, creative personality who seeks competence in professional activities and participates actively in the creation of democratic society.

Important dates:

In 1960, Panevezys Polytechnic School was established.
In 1991, Panevezys Polytechnic School was reorganized into Higher Technical School.
On 30 August 2002, Panevezys Higher Technical School became Faculty of Business and Technologies of Panevezys College.

Studies:

The faculty enrolls individuals who have completed secondary education. The duration of studies is from three to four years. There are day-time (3 years) and extramural studies (4 years). The individual programmes are also prepared for students who have finished higher studies and want to get a diploma of high non-university education.

Specializations: the maintenance and control of environment; waste utilization; organization of water systems.

Accountancy - day-time and extramural studies.
Specializations: accounting in budget institutions; accounting in banks.

Electrical and Automation Equipment - day-time and extramural studies.
Specializations: automation of technological equipment and systems; the production of electronic devices.

Information Systems - day-time and extramural studies.
Specializations: the service of digital control systems; the maintenance of the software.

Business management - day-time and extramural studies.
Specializations: marketing management; trade management.

Advertising management - day-time and extramural studies.

Construction engineering - day-time and extramural studies.

Computer technics - day-time and extramural studies.
Specializations: computer maintenance and network administration; service of software and computer business.
