International cooperation is one of the most important activities of Panevezys College. The main aim of cooperation is to give possibility for students to study in foreign education institutions to obtain practical knowledge from companies of European countries, to give the teachers possibility to refresh their qualification, to participate in various international projects, share good experience with colleagues from foreign countries.

Goals and functions of International Relations Department are:

• to select and systemize information about needs of the departments of Panevezys College for developing international relations and mobility;
• to inform academic staff about possibilities to participate in international projects, to look for foreign education institutions in order to develop international projects;
• to provide information about participation in EU international education programmes – Socrates, Leonardo da Vinci and others;
• to motivate lecturers and students for active participation in projects, to help those who are going abroad for study matters, to intermediate in solving problems, which arise from realization of international projects;
• to organize advertising and creation of positive image of the college, to represent the college in exhibitions and fairs;
• to maintain the relations with partners abroad, to seek contractual relations with education institutions, research centers and business associations;
• to communicate and cooperate with colleagues in Lithuania and EU.
